Me

My name is Matthew Mancuso, an Undergraduate at Stony Brook University. I study Biomedical Engineering, am graduating in only three years, and am in my last year of classes. I'd like to continue on with my education and enter a Ph.D. program. Specifically, I'd like to apply nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, and computer simulation to solve medical and biological mysteries. The sutdy of disease is particularly interesting to me.

Personal
On top of my classes and research, I'm the President of the Stony Brook Chapter of the National Biomedical Engineering Society and a University Scholar. Further, I bartend on the weekends, to pay for school. When I have time, I'm an avid volleyball player, ultimate frisbee player, and runner. If it's not obvious already, I have a soft spot for technology and programming. Robotics and open source software development are issues I'm passionate about, and hope to stumble in to in the future.
