I am pursuing my Masters degree from the Biomedical Engineering Department here at Stony Brook University. I did my undergraduate studies at the Vellore Institute of Technology, India in the Department of Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering. I received my B.Tech degree in July 2008 in the field of Biotechnology.

     I have been interested in the studies of carbon nanotubes as a drug delivery and site directed therapeutic agent. I am currently working in Prof. Balaji Sitharaman's lab here at Biomedical Engineering at Stony Brook University, looking into the potential use of carbon nanotubes for treatment of breast cancer. Earlier, I had worked with Prof. Lazzar Mathew at Vellore Institute of Technology.
