SAMUEL DARGUIN
Hello,
My name is Samuel Darguin and I am honored to serve as the Executive Vice President of the exceptional student body of Stony brook University for the 2005-2006 academic year. I am a sophomore political science major with an emphasis in international relations. During my previous year at Stony brook I have served as USG senator and held the esteemed position of President Pro-tempore, served on the executive council of Greeley college LEG and well as helped in multiple blood drives. This is in addition to being involved in numerous organizations including: Black Male Leadership Commission, NYPIRG, United Students against sweatshops(USAS), Student African American Brotherhood(SAAB), and a host of others.
As USG Vice President I hope to aid in the positive growth of Stony Brook University as the campus expands and continues to be one of the best Universities around. Although, I am the USG Vice President, it is the senators and Executive Board who are the backbone of the Student Government. USG is nothing without hard work, creativity; dedication, drive, enthusiasm, and an overwhelming concern for the students of Stony brook University. I love this organization and it is a great honor to serve the students and stand tall for them. My goal, my dream, and my vision is to be a man of character and honor that seeks the right, fair, and just decision that will influence the future of Stony brook University. My door will ALWAYS be open to any student or individual who wishes to assist the members of the Undergraduate Student Government and myself with this mission.
